We have found our dream house...it needs a new roof and probably some other repairs, as it's an older home (1950's or so). This house had an offer that fell through due to standard FHA loan falling through due to the roof. I think the 203k is our only financing option. I'd like to find a company that is currently successful in closing these types of mortgages. Please help!!

2 replies Sun, 11 Oct 2009 15:07:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/I-am-looking-for-a-203k-lender-in-the-Hollywood-Florida-South-Florida-area-that-knows-this-program/287342/ 2009-10-11T15:07:00Z Can I narrow Search Results? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-narrow-Search-Results/268037/ Such as Parking, Garage, Pool, etc.

0 replies Fri, 14 Aug 2009 16:21:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-narrow-Search-Results/268037/ 2009-08-14T16:21:00Z miami and surrounding city markets. http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/miami-and-surrounding-city-markets/256772/ Hello, I am trying to understand the miami and surrounding city markets. Can anyone tell me about the home values and demographics of coral gables, fort lauderdale, coconet grove, and brickell (this is where the office will be). I am probably missing some parts of town I should consider, but I do not know miami at all.

Basically, I am looking for a nicer part of town; safe; good neighborhoods; social and preferably suburban. Ideally, I am looking for an upper end part of town, university educated people, quite streets, and polite-fun people.

Any thoughts on resources/websites that are useful for comparing different parts of town or any opinions you might have would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Mike

1 reply Thu, 16 Jul 2009 01:12:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/miami-and-surrounding-city-markets/256772/ 2009-07-16T01:12:00Z I lost a home to foreclosure financed thru VA about 10 yrs ago..When can I buy another home? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/I-lost-a-home-to-foreclosure-financed-thru-VA-about-10-yrs-ago-When-can-I-buy-another-home/216827/ I let someone else take over payments for my home, needless to say they didn't make a single payment. What do you read:
a.
