Can Sellers Break Escrow

My wife and I are in escrow on our first house, and so far, everything has been going reasonably well. In the last few days though, my wife has become very concerned that the sellers are having second thoughts about the deal. They accepted our offer, which was about $50k less than some very recent comps in the area, and it was $30k lower than another offer (ours was the cleaner deal, no contingencies, shorter escrow, loan in hand). She is concerned that they might want to get out of our deal and try to find a buyer who will offer more.

So, I guess I'm poking around for info to put her mind at ease. Once there is a signed offer, and we are in escrow, assuming we fulfill all our obligations, is there anything a seller can do to break escrow and kill the sale?
