We are still trying to understand what this means, but does anyone have any experiences with this? Sound like a lot of fine print needs to be reviewed because it can indicate that some items are not covered, others will not be replaced to new, patching of broken items may be their solutions, etc. This house has thousands of costs if damages or needed work, so it doesn't sound smart to buy it just because MAYBE this paper will cover something to a certain extent.

Thanks.

4 replies Tue, 20 Jan 2015 20:23:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Home-Insurance-Warranty-offered-by-Seller-what-does-this-mean/572853/ 2015-01-20T20:23:00Z Can someone please recommend a good home inspector for Edison NJ http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-someone-please-recommend-a-good-home-inspector-for-Edison-NJ/570785/ 3 replies Wed, 31 Dec 2014 02:12:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-someone-please-recommend-a-good-home-inspector-for-Edison-NJ/570785/ 2014-12-31T02:12:00Z After home inspection, can I cancel my contract and keep my deposit http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/After-home-inspection-can-I-cancel-my-contract-and-keep-my-deposit/545448/ I am in new jersey and my contract says "in the event parties can not agree on any repair issue, buyer has right to cancel the contract" We put down 18k as deposit.....

Inspector found mold on the wall in the furnace room and many other issues. We needed to get our inspection done during the week, but ended up pushing to the next. Today our realtor told us that the seller realtor refused to go open the door for us when she was away. This seems unproductive from our point of view, but before I make any conclusions, I wanted to ask if this is standard of seller realtors. We are not asking that she opens the door for us every time we feel like, but that if needed, she should open the door, so we can move ahead with the process.

Thank you.

16 replies Mon, 12 Jan 2015 09:43:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Should-Seller%27s-Realtor-be-available-to-help-us-buyers-when-needed/571964/ 2015-01-12T09:43:00Z When buying a house in NJ with an in ground oil tank, must the tank be removed from the ground? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/When-buying-a-house-in-NJ-with-an-in-ground-oil-tank-must-the-tank-be-removed-from-the-ground/177906/ 35 replies Wed, 17 Dec 2008 14:49:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/When-buying-a-house-in-NJ-with-an-in-ground-oil-tank-must-the-tank-be-removed-from-the-ground/177906/ 2008-12-17T14:49:00Z why would a bank take more $ on a short sale but take less in forcloser? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/why-would-a-bank-take-more-on-a-short-sale-but-take-less-in-forcloser/563572/ I was in a short sale the bank said that they would not take anything less then $307,000 the house was not worth that price after fixing. (The garage door is still intact, but if you open it you hit a wall, the tax assessment document for 2014 recognizes this space as a garage).
