getting a loan approved for 50k or less , is there a bank out there??

credit score mid 630 and would like to purchase a home in palmdale or lancaster between 40k - 60k . Can a mortagae lender find a bank to process such a small home loan, how do other people buy these homes in the antelope valley for such small amounts

Hello,
I just graduated college and have secured a job (phew!), and Im thinking about buying a house. Im in the LA county area (California) and it seems that it is about the same amount to rent a house or pay a mortgage each month. But Im just getting started....so I was wondering if someone could tell me (in laymen's terms) the step by step process I should be expecting? I have about 6k to put down, but thats about all I know :) Help please! Id love to buy a house, especially in this market :)

i purchased my home on dec 24th. just 7 days difference between the 7,500 credit that you have to re-pay and the 8,000 that you do not. How can i get the 8000 instead of the 7500?
