Military Personnel Not Moving TO COS

About 35% of those military scheduled to move from Texas to COS have been stood down. This was part of the expected influx of military to the area. What impact will this have on house sales?

Housing Market Update for Colorado Springs, Colorado

Things are looking up for the Colorado Springs housing market. Home Sales have risen 12% compared to last year during the same time period. New homes Sales are up for the last 5 months straight. Our housing inventory has dropped 20% from the same time last year, which is great for home sellers. The average days on the market have dropped front 95 days down to 71 days on the market, which is also great news for home sellers.

The supply of homes on the market drastically affects not only homes sellers, but the number of homes buyers have to choose from. Especially now with the end of the $8,000 tax credit come on November 30, 2009.In September of 2008 there was an 8.2 month supply of homes on the market and currently we have 5.9 months supply of homes. This is great news for home sellers and a signal to home buyers to not wait around to write an offer , once they have found their dream home.

My house at 6087 Del Rey Drive does not show up on the neighborhood view with a value.

Twice I put in my address and it pulled up two different houses. The third time I put in the address across the street and it pulled up a view of all the houses and their values but mine had no value shown. A bank I recently went to for a home equity line of credit pulled up a house with my address that showed across the street and down the block. No where near to what my house looked like. Can you help?

Hell! Do you know who to qualify for the Gov. $8000 tax credit? Well, if your a home buyer who has not owned a home in the last three years or who has never owned a home, you qualify. However, in order to get the tax credit you must close on your new home by November 31st, 2009. You can then amend this years taxes and get a check back from Uncle Sam for up to $8000.00. Yes, you will get a check in the mail.

Call today to and close on your next home by November 31, 2009.

Will a second home in another state qualify for $15000 tax credit?

I am planning to buy a second home in another state. Technically speaking, the house will be used as a primary residency by my spouse who is employed in that state and is currently renting. But would it be possible to claim this second home as a primary residency for tax credit purposes? Are there any additional conditions, such as distance test, or filing status (we intend to file jointly) related to this case? Our employers are 600 miles apart.
