The expansion of the home buyers tax credit has been extended and expanded until April 30, 2010 (active miltary thru endof 2010)- homeowners who have lived in thier house for 5 years and are looking to move up into a larger home can apply for $6500 tax credit. Although it falls a bit short of the $15k the industry was looking to get this is still a great incentive to buy!

Will you take advantage of the opportunity and the current buyers market? Where when and what are you looking for?

We couldn't get the $8000 because of a 1971 single wide. We got an extention till 11-20-09 because the loan didn't go through at first. now it costs $100 per day after the 13th if we don't close. $1900 dollars to try and wait til the 12-1-09 the National realitors assocation says the 6500 kicks in. Bank isn't wanting to wait that long.

My wife owns a 1971 trailor that we rent out to my dad for 400 a month. we have a average beacon score of 730 for each of us. our credit cards have a 10.00 balance and we signed for a house that the mortage co said we could get then underwriting kicked us out and now we're about 4,000 short from the 10% down payment.I have been disabled since 2005. and 1 kid is a freshman at Clemson with no loans. all cars are paid for. what can we do?

Why are trailors keeping us from getting a home for us and our 2 kids. Is there any way we can get the $8000 credit. The house we signed for is coming apart over the fact she owned a trailor.

How do you get deposit money back when bank will not finance the house?

put deposit down on foreclosed home but when CL 100 report came back bank stated it would not finance unless seller made repairs. FNMA would not make repairs so had to walk away but now cannot get earnerst deposit money back. Filled out release form and signed by my broker and agent but listing broker says court must tell him what to do with deposit money.
