When I look on Zillow or PropertyShark, however, it is listed as a 2 br / 1 ba, which makes me wonder whether the master suite was an unpermitted addition. Here's the wrinkle: the sq ft &nbsp;in the listing is the SAME as that listed on both Zillow and PropertyShark. How can the square footage be included in official records but not the bedroom or bathroom? (It does not SEEM to be a garage conversion: the house has a garage attached.)&nbsp;More importantly, how do I find out?&nbsp;Also, assuming that it is an unpermitted addition, what does that mean? Do we have to get it permitted? How do we do that? What if it's turned down?
