We like the house plan and are ready to enter negotiations with the builder. We need a buyer's agent. Since we have done the search ourselves, we are looking for an agent out there that can offer buyer rebate (reimburse portion of the commission). We are no trying to offend anyone here, we know the agents work hard. Its just that we are on tight budget, have spent numerous hours/miles searching for a house and have found one. We need help with negotiation and closing.Anyone out there?<br \><br \>7 replies Tue, 05 Aug 2014 02:19:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Buyer%27s-agent-rebates/553115/ 2014-08-05T02:19:00Z Can I buy a house as an expact in US? My husband and I work from home and have a 14 month old and two dogs. We like charm and are very active/love the outdoors. We like the idea of having a quaint downtown area with shops, restaurants, etc. We obviously want a safe neighborhood that is made up of young families. Because of how expensive it is to live where we are now, we would like to reduce our cost of living and keep our budget around or below $225k. Any recommendations are welcome, thank you!<br \><br \>7 replies Tue, 03 Dec 2013 15:40:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Best-towns-neighborhoods-outside-of-Raleigh-NC/520683/ 2013-12-03T15:40:00Z "wannabe realtor" vs "real realtor" http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/wannabe-realtor-vs-real-realtor/526289/ why do i feel like i can find better houses than my realtor?<br/>stupid question but should i find another realtor or do it myself?<br \><br \>14 replies Wed, 29 Jan 2014 00:31:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/wannabe-realtor-vs-real-realtor/526289/ 2014-01-29T00:31:00Z Found house under renovation by current owner who will sell post renovations. I Think we've hit the end of the line on knocking $ off the price, but our agent has suggested we come back one last time and ask them to give us an incentive with the price. She has suggested that we ask for blinds throughout the house. Sounds good to is, but was wondering if there are other things we should consider instead (ie., can you ask for appliances, or additional landscaping?). Any other considerations you can suggest would be extremely helpful. ( I should note that the majority of the house is now fixed and/or upgraded, so there isn't a lot that we could add...
