How updated is your information on your site? I called a realtor about a home that was listed and he said that information on that home is old and been sold.

$8,000 tax credit for home buyers extended and expended

The $8,000 was extended to April 30, 2009 and now includes current homeowners who can claim $6,500 if they used sold home as a principal residence consecutively for 5 of the previous 8 years on closing day.

The extended tax credit applies only to principal residences below $800,000.

At what point with my credit score is it completely worthless to try to seek out a mortgage loan?

Due to a conflict with one of my 3 credit cards, the one in particular has fallen into bad standing. This has caused my credit score to drop substancially. Should that render me helpless when it comes to purchasing a condo?

High School for Oak Marr Courts Subdivision

The high school listing for homes in the Oak Marr Courts subdivision (patio homes next to the Oak Marr Recreation Center) is incorrect. The high school for this neighborhood is Fairfax High School, not Oakton High School. Both school are great, but Oakton High School is NOT the high school for this neighborhood.

Very Disappointed with Hovnanian Homes Builders in Ashburn Evergreen Reserve . Corian Countertops in the Kitchen , Vinyl Flooring in Powder room , kitchen, morning room are some of the top-of-the line features of a 760K home in this upscale neighbourhood. Virtually every other builder in the area areoffering hardwood floors in all of the main level , 12x12 tiles in the first floor powder room and kitchen and also granite countertops.

Also the lots premiums have been raised from 20K to almost 50K on each home lot within 1 week .
Additionally there are power lines right behind these properties which are a big health hazard so people should research and be advised before buying properties in that community.

I'm interested in purchasing a home in belmont bay Woodbridge va for 270K . The 2009 tax assessment is for 270k, and the owner is also paying the closing cost. Is this a good deal? or will my mortage be overwater next year.
