Deciding to own a home is a big decision. Here are some facts that may help you take the first step towards becoming a homeowner. Renting the same property for seven years that you would buy (if rent was between $500 & $610) over a period of 7 years. The total rent you would pay would be $46,420.00. Unfortunately, none of that would be returned to you through savings or as an investment. In the Russellville, AR area...home values on average rise an average of 2.5% per year since 1985. Assuming this continues, a home you could have purchased for $100,000, and financed at $102,000...in 7 years (on Average) could rise to a seven year equity growth of $15,969.00. It gets even better. The savings of rent vs. ownership, plus equity growth for appreciation, and the principal reduction on a loan could all add up to a total benefit of $31,214.00 after a seven year period. So...why rent?

My friend listed her place for sale in Jan 09, though she has had a couple of offers they've been way low. However, another mutual friend wants to buy her property [she has not seen the listing, she didn't even know it was for sale until I told her.]

Owner of property wants to know what it will cost [fees, etc] her to break the contract with the real estate agency and sell directly to her other friend?

There is a house that is scheduled to be sold at the courthouse on 2/17/09. The owner currently have it listed with an agent for $169,900, however, the bank loan owed is 139,853. Should I go to the courthouse to bid on this property, wait to see if the bank takes it back or try to deal with the seller through their agent?

I have spent years to have and keep good credit after a divorce. I would love to buy a home with the tax credit. Thats my only concern is owing some taxes from years ago. I never get a refund, so I dont know if I would be eligable or not?

Zillow very difficult to Navigate... I need help

I am looking for ALL homes for sale in Arkansas
I do NOT want a bunch of realtors shown
Every time I put in Arkansas , I get a few photo's strung down
the page from EVERY STATE.
I want to find RURAL homes with acreage
I want foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, FSBO's and Bank owned.
I do not want subdivisions, townhomes, condo's etc.
I want to be able to go down a list ( with photo's) and find out
all about those houses..
So far , I've spent 2+ hours getting the same thing.
There seems to be tons of info for Lenders, banks and realtors
IF we want to get involved with them, and I do NOT wish to,
since they were the cause of my problems..
I simply want to VIEW all homes for sale in ARKANSAS
with NO other state information showing..
Is that possible?
The OLD Zillow worked MUCH better...
