Looking to buy, but have what I feel is greatly over inflated asking prices in my area. Would like to really know what has happened to the home value market in this area.

i purchase a house in July of 08 in VA, I'm planning to relocate to CA and renting the house in VA, can I buy a second house in CA using conventional loan program or is that against the Law or what are the requirements?

heating duct ran, but not connected.....thats it!.....being sold AS IS...un finished! No fixtures, no cabinets....BARE WALLS ONLY! What would be an acceptable asking price to bring to the table? I have to foot the bill to finish the home and want to use a different contractor. How much would a good offer be to get the builder out from under this house?
