This information is easily found in the city of Minneapolis website. Otherwise, you will need to take a trip to the inspections office of the city where the home is located and ask to see the file on the property. More than likely permits will have been pulled for the work, which leaves a paper trail in the inspections office. Of course if it appears that work has been done to the property and there is no record of permits being pulled, I would be somewhat wary of the quality of that work, ie home handyman quality.
