Builders often must purchase or secure lots with developers years in advance of the subdivisions. Only a <a href="http://www.zillow.com/directory/real-estate-agents/">REALTOR</a> who specializes in these will be able to really help you know what lots are available in your area.<br/>Last year alone I sold dozens of lots directly through developers and builders which were not advertised, and some were not even yet recorded until the time of sale. This past Sunday I showed a custom home to a client and the were interested in purchasing a lot.
