People should always beware when they can't find information about a company on the web...I couldn't find anything about this company when I did a search in January - scams are in the news everyday... and it's the desperate, the people who need cash right now who are the ones that most easily fall prey to scams...

Sorry I can't answer every single phone call that comes into our office. Nonetheless, how is our marketing spam?

You have homeowners advertising their property FOR SALE on Zillow. There is a huge button that says "Email the owner" in each (FSBO) listing.

They are soliciting inquiries about their properties, and we replied. Anyway, we stopped marketing to Zillow listings months ago, so you don't have anything to worry about.

And before you go falsely accusing us (again) of something that we're not guilty of, perhaps you should make sure that you have an accurate understanding of exactly what spam is:

A message is Spam only if it is both Unsolicited and Bulk.

    Unsolicited Email is normal email
(examples: first contact enquiries, job enquiries, sales enquiries)

    Bulk Email is normal email
(examples: subscriber newsletters, customer communications, discussion lists)

For the record, EVERY email we send is from a unique sender, not from some bulk mail service.

As for your response about advertising, perhaps that would have been a better approach the first go round rather than to label our company as a "scam"

There are lots of companies and individuals who will give a quick all cash sale. Does this make it a scam? Not in my opinion. You know they know approximately what your property is worth and will offer nothing close to that value.The bottom line is that people who need cash "right now" are at a disadvantage.

I am not sure why you never received the cease and desist that I e-mailed to you but please do cease and desist to contact Zillow sellers with your offers.

The terms of use of our website strictly forbids marketing to the individuals who are trying to sell their homes here. Furthermore, unsolicited e-mail offers are indeed SPAM and I would suggest you do your homework on that topic; SPAM is now in fact illegal.

If you offer a service that could assist home sellers and want to promote it on Zillow, the appropriate way to do that is to advertise on the site, allowing consumers to contact you if they are interested in your offer. Click here for more details about advertising on Zillow.

Despite all of the false and slanderous allegations below I can assure you that my companies and websites are 100% legitimate and non fraudulent.

In fact, I welcome everyone who made erroneous accusations in this thread to check out our parent company SaveMeFromForeclosure.com, LLC on the Better Business Bureau's website, and note our PERFECT track record and history, something that we are very proud of.

Just so everyone is clear, let me explain part of our business model. We comb sites like Zillow and Craigslist and send emails to people (as noted below) asking them to visit our site if they would like a cash offer on their property. We give the user the CHOICE to fill out a form if they wish to be contacted. If they don't, so be it. If they do, then we try to match them up with local buyers in their area.

I fail to see what the scam is here. What we do is actually called "Marketing"

Did anyone ever bother to notice that we display a toll-free number, along with a physical and email address on our site? Doesn't exactly sound like a company trying to scam and hide from people.

I find it disappointing that posters such as sunnyview would make comments such as "Swindley scum should be banned from the internet. Protect yourself and do NOT reply."

However what I found downright diabolical is that a person associated with Zillow would blatantly LIE in a public forum stating that they (Zillow) have sent us a cease and desist order (thank you David Gibbons). To date we have NEVER received any communication from Zillow.

Futhermore, I would like to ask Mr. Gibbons exactly what scam he thought that we were running? What it the old "get them to fill out a form on a webpage and try and buy their house" scam?

Please Mr. Gibbons. You should actually do some research before you slander my company and make false accusations.
