Why would Zillow not just kick them off the site? For all the shananigans that went on with Tom Davie....I would put trying to appear like ZillowLoans would be a far greater offense than having a few different screen names.

Well, the site has already changed since I first posted this. It previously had a logo that said "Zillender.com" that looked suspiciously like the Zillow.com logo. Now it just says "Straightforwardlending.com". I would suspect that someone had a few words with them.

The website seems to be specifically designed to deal with Zillow leads. The website does clearly identify AOF (with the wrong address).

My only question is wether or not they are properly disclosing the $1700 value travel voucher to Mexico on the HUD.

A company out here used to offer free cruises. No one could ever actually USE the certificates, as PASA indicated, the 'black-out dates' are 365 days a year! I think I'm going to start offering gift cards to Circuit City.Â

AmericaOne Finance is a net branch operator. To my knowledge, they do not allow Branches to operate under any other DBA. I think if it were known to corporate, this would quickly change.

By the way, did you notice the "quote" stated airfare was included in the travel gift?

The website doesn't say anything about airfare. And it states the certificate can only be used in off days when vacancy is very high.

My fax machine is regularly spammed by travel companies offering these free or low priced resort stays. You read the details and it is clear that it isn't good for when most people can or want to go, and that the cost will be made up elsewhere, such as in the airfare.

The ones that come in on the fax machine state all the food is included too. But this website states they make up the costs in spas, drinks, restaurants, tours..., so it appears to not include the food.

Greg - The trade off for taking on the liability is that the registered broker keeps 50% - 75% of the commission...pretty likley that this policy will tighten up in the future...
