Excellent location in the townhomes and condo unit right behing the court house, between market and springfield avenue. Close to the train station and it holds value very well.

I would suggest that you look for a propoerty that is within walking distance to Penn.Station.This will allow you to be in NYC by path or NJ transit in less than 20 min.flat.I used the path today for the short ride into lower NYC and I parked two blocks from Penn. Sta.,without a problem.

There are a number of great spots to eat in the East Ward, which is called the Ironbound.

There are a lot of good deals around the area and this is a great time to buy but my question to you is are selling a property or our you a first time home buyer?

My last Newark property was surrounded by homeowners who relocated from NYC and are still happy being property owners in Newark.

It depends on what you're looking for in a multi-family property. There are, as of this morning, 1,322 2-3 family properties available in Newark. There's a lot to choose from which gives you many pros and cons. You must ask yourself, why are you looking in Newark? There are many NJ towns you can commute to easily from Manhattan.
