No such thing exist in the <a href="http://www.zillow.com/mortgage/">mortgage</a> industry. The government does not set rates. The rate sounds high either way you say it. Sounds like the <a href="http://www.zillow.com/mortgage/">loan</a> officer is trying to upsell your <a href="http://www.zillow.com/Mortgage_Rates/">interest rate</a> at the blame of the government. With a VA loan thats to far down the road, you may be trapped into using the lender. Just depends where you are in your process.
