regarding the "houising", I'm still trying to figure out what those colored squares are in the background, and why the guy posted an avatar well over 2000 pixels wide. Perhaps he wants us to blow his face up to 5 ft high and post it on billboards and the side of our vans?

As for the original question... Why do people post mortgage questions under the "buyers" catagory?? Why don't they just post them under the mortgage catagory where they will get lots more answers and lots of solicitations?

Of course 80-10-10 loans are still available; but that may not be the best deal, you may not qualify, and they may not be available where you want it. Why would anyone buy in irvine right now anyway?
