Where are you looking for golf course lots? If you are looking in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area of North Carolina our website offers a golf lot filter.
Your best bet is still to contact a Realtor in the area you are interested in and let them assist you.

Something I've found useful is to use the map view to scroll around golf communities. It's pretty easy to spot the green from above.

Also from my experience the backyards next to the fairways are where it's at. Being across the street from a house that's on the fairway doesn't have the same appeal.

Call a Realtor, have them do the work for you and email you golf course listings. Most MLS have a field for golf course or forest preserve or park or airparks, so it is easy to search with the right tools and a professional at your side.
