Walk ... http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Reselling-the-home-for-a-higher-value/246356/ You have two options. Walk on over and knock on the door and tell the story you just told here and make an offer or secure the services of a real estate agent to do it for you.

In your situation, I would leave the agent out of it at this point. Head on over and let them know why you want to buy the house they just bought. See how they fell about making a profit on their home. If they agree, then find an agent who will take care of the contracts, etc. for a flat fee. That way it all gets done at a minimal cost.

However, you need to keep in mind that if you are going to finance any part of the purchase, you are likely going to have to come up with more money than you are planning. A bank is going to do an appraisal and if you offer more than these folks paid, the appraisal is going to come in at lower than what you offer. Just keep that in mind. Before you approach the owners, I would talk to a loan person to firm up your options.

Good Luck,
Robert Thu, 09 Jul 2009 17:17:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Reselling-the-home-for-a-higher-value/246356/ 2009-07-09T17:17:00Z
