Equity Loans are not exceeding 85% to 90% Loan to Value depending on the state. Not knowing your situation it's hard to understand why you would want to over extend yourself and risk your home. If your upside down maybe you need a loan modification to reduce your mortgage??? Your current lender is the best source of any loan mods. Call them first!
