Happy to put you in touch with ANY person you find on our web site. Again, check out anybody you do business with. Don't take their word for it. (or mine) Get third party confirmation. In my case all of my clients are already referred. The web site is just in addition to whatever the client has already heard about us. As I have mentioned before, ZMM is purely a test for us. I think it is a great concept. Much will depend on the participates on all sides. So far I think everybody I have seen is making an honest effort to make this work. I hope it continues.

Brian I agree. I am a referral only mortgage broker who has decided to give ZMM a trial in the hopes that it may be a honest market place. I have tons of referrals and testimonials so I mention that in the text of my quote. I show them how to check me out. In my case which may also apply to other lenders I tell everybody the following: Go to the company web site and view text and video testimonials of other clients, google my name, and check my profile on linkedin.com. If the rep has been around awhile and has a good reputation they should be able to show you some information about themselves before you commit. I suggest that all of us on the lending side should help the clients by providing this information when possible.

I can Not speak for anyone other than myself at this point. Personally, I am taking it slow to jump in here as I want to make sure that when I do quote that I am meeting All disclosure requirements, etc. Specifically, the ARM quotes are more labor intensive since they require alot of information.

My only concerns at this point are :

1. Seems like alot of Low Ball quotes and Unrealistic Fees.

2. Notice when reviewing already given quotes............there are a few Major Players.......again giving unrealistic quotes AND they are adding in the end to Beware of Brokers...........like we are just here to take advantage of the borrower.

To me that is Very Unprofessional and Zillow should police more and Remove them.

As a potential borrower I wanted to chime in here. First, not everyone submitting requests is putting in bogus information. Some of us are as truthful as we can be based on what we know. Having stated that I can see one thing in addition to some of the concerns already mentioned that will slow down acceptance of this new feature.

As this is a very new offering none of the vendors I've received quotes from have any feedback or ratings applied to them. To be honest this makes me a little nervous dealing with a lender on little to no information. I'll be doing some internet research on those lenders to see if I can learn anything. I can see that if everyone involved (lenders and borrowers) use a little good faith and ride out the initial storm this could turn into a great service.

I just received an email from zillow.com stating I received a quote but I cannot see anything in the "quotes received" page.
