They agency should have this insurance and you will need to file a claim against it to get back your money plus damages. <br/><br/>As a former agent, that is a nightmare since it would cause litigation, and a large rate increase to their already expensive yearly premiums. Most agency's use this as an ultimate last resort when someone in their office screws up. <br/><br/>I would threaten legal action in hopes for the agency to make it right and pay back the lost money. If they don't, then go after them... it seems like a pretty solid case. Don't be afraid to get back what's yours if there not willing to accept responsibility and make it right. Contact your states insurance commissioner. You can not buy double coverage on one property. They should be able to help get this straightened out.&nbsp; <br/><br/>In the yellow pages state of Illinois then you should find something that looks like insurance commissioner or insurance bureau or something similar.<br/><br/>If you contact the insurance company first saying you are ready to talk to the insurance commissioner they may have a sudden change of heart. I even called the insurance companies billing dept. they called the ins. co. area manager to call me to work this out. To this day the manager has never called. I left that co. and Chase should have been aware just seeing the big difference in the payout on each policy. Country Companies Insurance wont help nor will Chase the service lender. So how do I get this resolved?
