I am very organized and supplied all documentation immediately - as in no delay, usually same day as requested. It is now December and they cannot even give a rough estimate on when they may be ready to close. I'm not even positive it has gone to underwriting yet. They lost the file, lost documents, changed staff and most annoying, changed the mortgagee on my home insurance policy early on, without even telling me. They also wanted me to liquidate assets to show in my checking account early on when we were months away from closing.

They appear very disorganized. When I told them I would be shopping around for another lender, they effectively dropped me. I suspect they are not fully legitimate as it is hard to imagine a more incompetent staff. We've ... http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/FFSI/410282/ I will also say no... We've been dealing with them for a refi for over 2 months now. We were approved almost immediately with impeccable credit, but they seem VERY unorganized an unprofessional. In fact, we are/were closing with them today but we've been waiting for the closer to show up now for over an hour. No phone calls to us and no one answering their phones, either, even though we re-confirmed everything just this morning. They suck.
