It is unfortunate that your "friend the loan officer" is not being more helpful, as this is not a solution for strangers to handle. <br/>You are talking about a large amount of money, and getting it resolved now is important. There were not any special assesements. The only change is a $150 increase for this year.&nbsp; The Title company said the bank gave them wrong figures.&nbsp; I haven't gone to the loan officer regarding this yet because she is a friend.&nbsp; My question is this....If the loan officer who works for the bank made the mistake....will the bank rectify it without any more money coming out of my pocket?&nbsp; Also, I made a mistake in my initial post...it is Charter One..not Bank one. If bought the house in 2010 or 2011 there could have been a substantial shortage if full assessed taxes were not being paid. If shortage last yr was only $150 there is something missing....If your loan officer and/or their manager does not explain situation to your satisfaction, there are a number of excellent Zillow lenders in your area and you could contact one for assistance. Maybe one will respond to this blog and offer to assist you. Go to Professionals tab above if Zillow lender does not respond and look for one in your area/state.
