It was a foreclosure unrelated to the home you referenced. But it appears that in the instance of this other home, US Bank was acting as the servicer of the loan as well as providing foreclosure services to an LLC that was the actual owner of the property.

My guess is that since US Bank hasn't listed the property as 'for sale', it would appear that this home might also be owned by an investment pool. And it's up to the investor to determine when and if a foreclosed home will be sold.

Additionally it's often impossible to contact a bank regarding a foreclosed home. About all you can do is either keep track of the property or have a real estate agent set up an auto search on MLS for when the property is listed. But even then there's no guarantee that the investor will sell or whether the property will ever see the open market.
