Or I guess equity in the land for a conventional loan instead of having to put down 20%. They said that there was a time period that the land had to be in my name for that to happen though. I wanted to know how long. If it is 6 months or more, I might as well wait for the USDA to get their act together and push my already approved loan through. I doubt you can do that with a lender.
