(I called his mother and cried&nbsp; because I didn't know where her grandchildren&nbsp;would live&nbsp;and he signed that week.)<br/><br/>My closing was ultimately delayed by 3 weeks.&nbsp; Luckily the sellers were willing to work with me and allowed me to lease the home from them in the interim.<br/><br/>(Note that at the time I scheduled the closing, I was also scheduled to be divorced a full month ahead of time; the divorce was delayed due to illness of the mediator.)
