If you want a conventional loan, you must wait four years after receiving a Chapter 7 discharge and two years after receiving a Chapter 13 discharge. There are definitely lenders out there, like myself, that can get you a loan with that credit score. Some lenders can go as low as 580 and others can go as high as 680, it just depends so shop around a bit and see what you can find. I would recommend though for your own future benefit to raise your credit score. The most effective way to fixing your credit score is to pay your revolving credit card balance and debt.

Well I hope this helps! Based on all the information that you provided it doesn't seem that you would have trouble qualifying for a conventional refinance. However; with your credit being where it is I think there may be better programs out there for you, for the time being. Conventional loans are very credit restrictive and choosing once with a 627 would mean a much higher interest rate in most cases.
Wed, 21 Aug 2013 22:41:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Refinance/508020/ 2013-08-21T22:41:00Z Should be an easy enough ... http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Refinance/508020/ Should be an easy enough deal. You only need a minimum of a 620 score and at least 20% equity. You are also over the 4 year waiting period mark after a Chapter 7. Seems that you meet the basics. Your ratios are not scary, either.
