If so then the commission would be negociable to you. Normally the agent will get you to sign something saying you will give them a commission and how much if you produce a buyer that buys the house. If you don't agree then the agent is apt to not show them your home and move on to any of the other homes for sale that will give them a commission. All homes listed in the MLS offer commissions to the agent.
