Some states offer license reciprocity with other states and some Realtors maintain a license in more then one state, but you will find that most Realtors do not have subscriptions to more then one or two Multiple listing services (the main way Realtors locate suitable properties), it would be cost prohibitive for most to operate in that manner. <br/><br/>You are best suited doing some more research on what area you would like to live in, at least narrowing it down to one state, and then working with a local professional in whatever area you decide on. Try investigating the areas a bit and see if you can narrow down your "preferred area" and see what is available there. If not, choose an agent who specializes in your next "preferred area".
