While the teachers are great the Principal and other staff are awful. Lunch periods are lame.

The children are yelled and screamed at all day long to keep them in line and lunch and indoor recess are sitting no talking or maybe small amounts of talking and a staff member on a microphone yelling at kids. But most of the teachers are great.

I love this school. The staff is very friendly and open with the parents. If they have a concern with your child they contact you about it before doing something. They have a zero tolerance for bullying. My kids love it. My preschooler even has class at Portage Path CLC.

My son had a terrible kindergarten experience we switched schools and he was VERY reluctant to go. Now that he is in Mr. Bennett's 1st grade class he willingly goes to school every morning and is enjoying the school day. I think that especially in the younger grades it is important for school to be a positive experience for children in order to foster a love for education.
