Truman has worked hard in inproving the its overall atmosphere of being 'cool to be smart'. They have worked had to encourage all students to learn and have a goal in life. Truman is was able to get about 98% of all students to take this years SBA test. We are hoping for a 5th year of students that are proficient in math and reading.

I have worked at this school for 19 years. I love the community! With the support of our families we designed and implemented the first secondary dual language academy in Albuquerque in the year 2000. Our academy serves 300 student and every year we have students on a waiting list. Our students are bright respectful and hard working learners who believe in giving what it takes to become the best citizens of the 21st century. We are a school wide free lunch Title 1 school and every year we continue to improve academically as reflected in our rising test scores. Please support Truman MS where it is cool to be smart. Juntos seguiremos saliendo adelante con ganas respeto y mente positiva.
