Valley Vista has a very open and inviting atmosphere. The teachers are terrific! The Vice Principal and Principal are always working to improve the school and put in so many many long days to make sure everyone is safe and learning! There are options that families may choose. One option is Dual Language instruction is in Spanish for 50% of the day and in English for 50% of the day. Each family decides if that is a good idea for them. The instruction at Valle Vista is developmentally appropriate and the joy in learning is obvious!

I love Valle Vista because it is a Dual Language school which although in a low income district with limited financial resources has pulled together an amazing group of teachers and administrators and parent volunteers to help foster a safe fun cooperative learning environment for native english and native spanish speaking children to learn about each others languages and cultures. They do a lot with very little there and could really use the extra financial support.

All of my children have attended this school since kindergarten. They have been in the dual-language program and have had nothing but excellent concerned dedicated teachers and administrators to support their growth both socially and academically. How sad that the school has such a low rating (due to test scores). Many students at this school are coming from impoverished environments and are in need of intensive support in order to succeed. Unfortunately No Child Left Behind does not take this into consideration. The environment at this school is just what these students need! Thank you Valle Vista for doing a fantastic job with your students!

As a parent of 3 kids that go to this school I could not ask for anything more than what this school does for my kids I try to spend as much time at the school as possible and I could not believe how much compasion and love all the staff give to the students that go here I have recently moved out of this schools district but have continued to send my kids to this school and have no intentions on moving them.
