St. John's is a great place if you are looking for a Christian based education. The class size is perfect. My daughter is one of five kindergarteners and my son is one of 5 third graders. The split grade classes in 1st-8th allow for many great learning opportunities. The curriculum is moving in a more challenging direction with the adoption of a STEM based curriculum. They have all the same great opportunities for extra curricular programs as the public school. Everyone from pre- school to 8th grade knows and cares for each other. The kids love and respect everyone in the school!

I have nothing but the best to say about St John's. My oldest just graduated and still says he is a part of this school. I have a son in 1st grade and my youngest will be going to preschool before I know it. Great teachers and staff! If you want your child to get a good education and learn Christian values I wouldn't look anywhere else )

I absolutely love St. John's! I have three kids going here and they love coming to school everyday. My oldest has been here since preschool and has made so many friends and wonderful memories. The staff at St. John's are amazing and set their standards high for their students. I was so impressed with the all day Kdg. and the enrichment being provided. My oldest was reading fluently by Christmas of his Kdg. year and has be excelling in all content areas. The family atmosphere at St. John's is an extra added perk that makes you feel like this is "home."

We love St. John's! We pulled our children from another private school to attend St. John's and could not be happier with that decision. The teachers are amazing and do not cause our children stress. They love going to school everyday and are excelling with their program and curriculum. The school and church families are very warm and welcoming. The Pastor absoutely rocks and is very involved in the education of the children. This a great school and we are so happy that we found it!

My child attends this school and loves it. Class sizes are small which offers a more one on one with the child and teacher. I feel this has less distractions for the child and each can be focused on individually.

St. John's is a great school! Small class sizes and experienced teachers have helped our daughters to be academically and socially successful. They offer sports music and foreign language opportunities as well. St. John's is a quality alternative to the over-crowded public schools.

We had 3 children enrolled at St. Johns. We were very unhappy with the school. Our children are now in Dist 300 public schools and we are very happy with the teachers principals programs and families.

Transferred from Westfield to St. Johns and could not be more pleased. The school is small and your child gets the attention they deserve and a great education. We attend the Church and School and like it very much

Parents frustrated? Looking for a School where the focus is on education? St. Johns is the school to enroll in and is well worth the extra money. Learning is established at a VERY young age and spending a little extra money now (instead of waiting for college to 'pay' for education) will set your child on the right learning path for life.

Very fine school. A little on the small size. Has some great qualities but lacking in others. Needs more diversification of activities somewhat redundant. Lacking excitement and team spirit. Educationally a good to very good school. Curriculum needs some updating. Hopefully with new principal more discipline and uniformity will take place. Overall a good choice if looking for a parochial environment.

My daughter is graduating 8th grade this year after being at St. John's since Kindergarten! She ahs done excellent there and is more than prepared to move on to a parochial high school that is all college prep. She scored above average on her high school placement test. We credit this to the great teachers at St. John's. Our son is in 5th grade and has also done very well. He is ahead of kids on public schools gets the help he needs and feels comforatable there. Both kids enjoy getting involved in the sports there also a dn we have a lot of fun as a family. THe teachers at St. John's are awesome!! Mr. Kirchhoff has done a great job as principal. We love St. John's. If you are looking for a better education with Christian values for your child send them here!!

Out daughter has been attending St. John's for two years. She is currently in the 3rd Grade. We pulled her out of Crystal Lake schools because the math program was extremely weak. Also we wanted to put her in a Christian environment. We have been extremely pleased with both of these aspects of the school. Furthermore our daughter's interest in reading has been enhanced at the school. Her abilities have grown tremendously in the past two years. I highly recommend this school.

Overall school is very good for a quality education. Although lack of discipline and uniformity tend to bring down the school. Still a better choice than public. Extra curricular activities other than sports are lacking. It is a small school trying its best to become a bigger school.

Our daughter is currently in second grade at St. John's and we have been really happy with the quality of education she has received there. The teachers are great student to teacher ratios are low and the parental involvement is very high.

Excellent schools. My son has attended preschool and has just finished k. This school motivates my child to love to learn.

Our daughter is about to complete (full day) kindergarten at St. John's. We honestly didn't expect to be sending her there beyond kindergarten but we liked it so much that we are there for the long haul. The teachers are fantastic and there is a lot of parent involvement. We are very pleased with the high quality of education our daughter receives at St. John's.
