why are so many ratings here from the same day in 2010? that is suspicious and not fair to all who want information.

St.Martins is a very unsatisfactory school. I am a graduate from there and my experiences were less than welcoming to say the least. Some teachers don't seem to care about the academic success of the students and some very obvious favoritism can be seen inside the classroom as well. If you cant catch up with the material 99 percent of the time you are left back to fend for yourself. I understand that they have a curriculum they must get through but that is absolutely no way to run a class if only 15% actually understand what was presented to them. For the principal as far as I'm concerned she is not as involved as she should be. I remember countless times where even the staff themselves would not know if she was in or not. Academically they are not strong at all. With the combination of negligent teachers and little resources to use learning seems to take a back seat. In all this school basically has no academical challenges for students unprofessional staff and distorted priorities. You are light years better putting your child somewhere else where they can thrive excel and be happy.

Sendng my children to St. Martin's has not only been a wonderful educational decision but the sense of community the school offers has been wonderful for our family. It is such a nice feeling going to the school and teachers and staff know who you are and who your children are! Our whole family loves St. Martin's and we are very blessed to have the chance to send our children there.

It offers a great education and has some of the most caring teachers I've ever had the privilege of meeting. My family has been apart of the church for over 40 years and the school compliments everything we believe in spiritually. The principal teachers volunteers and parents have only the best interest of the children in mind as it should be.

It's a new day at St. Martins. Academically and spiritually my children are thriving. We love the sense of community the involvement of teachers parents and our principal all working together to provide a challenging and well rounded education for our children. We are so very proud to be a part of the St. Martins family.

I find it unfortunate that people feel they have to rate our school and they do not even have children attending the school. I have been in the school for 15 years and EVERY single year EVERY student has gotten into the high school of their choice!! This is a community school that welcomes feedback and encourages involvement from the parents. I am proud to be a parent that sends my children to St. Martin of Tours school.

I love St. Martin of Tours School because it couples educational learning with a faith filled environment. The Administration and Faculty are truly dedicated professionals who seem to care about our children nearly as much as we do. The vibe of the school is community like and my child is thriving and happy there. We wouldn't choose any other school to educate our child.

There is a reason why so many buses leave the area for schools in Massapequa and Seaford. Though some children may do well a large percentage do not get into their high school of choice & require additional tutoring (particularly in math) based on their education here. It is obvious that the parents who seem to 'run' the school have done some of the reviewing on this site.

The principal while very nice lets herself get swayed by a couple of parents who have their own agenda and think they are really in charge.

I have two children that attend this school - one in Pre-K and one in 2nd grade. My children LOVE going to school. I truly find the environment to be caring nurturing and loving. My husband and I are both very happy with the teachers and I know from personal experience how dedicated and caring they are. The new principal is wonderful. We have seen many exciting changes since she has come on board. I truly feel that my children are cared about and are part of a family. I am confident that my children are receiving a challenging quality Catholic education and absolutely know we made the right choice!
