This school is cold and dark from the second you step in the door. Don't expect anyone to smile say hello or ask if you need anything. There is tons of bullying starting with the principal and on down. Adults are not respectful how can they expect kids to be? The only thing good about this school is that my daughter learned a lot of good writing her middle school teacher says she's one of the best.

I think the school needs to really smack down on the bullying it is BAD at this school and they dont take it serious enough at all. They also find the bad kids and keep on blaming them for the bad things and dont open eyes to the fact that other kids are behaving badly as well.

My daughter has gone to Ptarmigan for 2 yrs now and has loved every minute. She excelled in her classes and even was involved in the ignite classes so she could go farther. She liked taking Chorus every year and they do a wonderful performance to show of the skills they have learned. One of the teachers even agreed to stay after school on her own time to help some student learn Japanese. This is a wonderful school that you would love to be involved with.

This is a good school but with a few faults. The adults need to take bullying more seriously.
