My child is in the 5th grade this year and I can say with confidence that she is getting the best education possible in the Apopka area. Education at Trinity is paramount. Students are held at high standards academically and behaviorlly. The teachers go through rigorous interviews and background checks before hiring. Teachers are there because of their love for Christ and for love of our children. Communication with any staff member is always open. Knowing that I never need to worry about the impact of what a teacher's actions attitude or opionions may be is invaluable.

I take exception with the previous comment posted by a parent. My two children are both graduates of Trinity Christian School who have gone on to excel and receive numerous awards in high school. They had teachers who were tough but also loving and caring. Many of the teachers go above and beyond what is expected of a teacher and also go out of their way to attend community activities in which the students are involved.

They eliminated teachers this year and eliminated classes that were supposed to be part of the curriculum. I am very unhappy w/ the 5th grade teacher this year. The teacher is rude at times and belittles the children. Many parents will not be registering their children next year. Parents are fearing retaliation upon their child if they speak up. Not all teachers are this way as we had a great experience last year with Mrs. Shaver who is no longer there. Every time you turn arount they are asking for money for something. They have the kids crammed into one small building w/ tiny rooms. The librarian is also the pe teacher and the middle school math teacher. It is rediculous. They cut back on so much meanwhile they did not reduce the tuition we pay. Not enrolling my child again this year

My 4 year old son has been attending Trinity now for 3.5 years and I have been disappointed in the way the staff handles the parents and children. To get a staff member to do something you practically have to either be unemployed or have a secretary who will constantly follow up with them. My son's behaivor when he spends more time at the school is more and more unsocial and bullyish towards other children. It seems that their only interest is charging numerous fees and having children teach themselves with little or no guidance. Needless to say I am fed up with this school and will not have my child continue to attend.

Very shady institution they claimed to accept the McKay Scholarship for children with special needs. The new student fee was $200; the testing fee was $30. The book activity and supply fee was $436.00. I was told that 50% of the fees prior to August 1 2011. There was a mandatory $180 a month fee for the (DISCOVERY Program) which is an additional $3400 even if the Mckay Scholarship covered all of the tuition. Because I questioned the accounting system my child was denied entry. What is highly makes the school suspect is why would you require all of the monies upfront if there is an examination for entry to "see if Trinity will be the right fit for your child". WHY would you test students who have qualified for a scholarship based on "DISABILITIES"???????? The McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities what kind of testing would you have to admit a student with disabilities. My child was denied entry 68% 70 is passing. So much for a "TRINITY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION" where a student pays for the cardinal sins of his father for questioning the accounting practices of a "Christian School who operates

My student was in an "A" rated public school for several years. The program is academically stronger than public school including the test taking. The negative behaviors of other students such as a bullying teasing do not seem to exist in this school environment. The class sizes are smaller. My child says the teachers care about the students and want to see him learn. We are very pleased with the Trinity program and would highly recommend.

TCS is phenomenal! My child has been there 2 yrs now and the teachers are the most honest loving teachers and people I have ever met. The love that is shown for each child is incredible. The curriculum is exceptional! My child is currently in 3rd grade and reads well into an 8th grade level. Computers Christianity Spanish Art and Music are just a few of the specials that are offered. The reputation of this school truly speaks for its self. After a go around with public school TCS has been a very welcomed relief. I would recommend TCS to anyone that is looking for a high quality education mixed with a loving environment for their child.

We have a 3 year old and a 13 year old. Both have attended this school for 2 years now. We love the teachers and the love they show for each child. The education they receive is phenomenal! They are a very close knit set of children and they are all very accepting of new students. I would recommend this school to any parent looking for a great loving Christian environment.

I cannot express how much I love this school. My three sons attend one is is second grade one is in pre-K and the third is in the 2 year old nursery class. I pray to God that I can keep them at this school as long as possible. My oldest son started in kidnergarden and was diagnosed with a learning disability. He was enrolled in their Discovery program and he recieves special attention and therepy two times a week. It worked wonders he is now in 2nd and is in the gifted program and reading way beyond his grade level. Like I said if you are looking for a private Christian school in or near Apopka Trinity is the place you want to be.

Both of my kids have attended Trinity. Both of my kids have experienced Christian guidance loving but firm teachers a strong Bible based curriculum and have exceeded far beyond my expectations. My husband and I are very happy with TCS. Our firm belief in Christian education helped us search for the right school. I agree that the music program is one of the strongest assets. But the Accelerated Reader program the computer access new playground and the strong Christian guidance are also assets. My child that is now in high school has been able to start high school with a strong Christian foundation that Trinity along with us and our church helped him build. He is excelling in Honors and AP classes. Both of my children learned to read in the Preschool program at TCS. Both are top readers. I applaud the job that TCS is doing.

Both of my children have attended Trinity for several years. Most of my experiences with teachers and staff have been positive. Many upgrades were done on the campus during the summer which have greatly improved the appearance of the school. The curriculum is very sound and challenging. The music program at Trinity is of a very high quality with all students taking violin in 4th grade and then given a choice of violin or band in 5th grade. Middle school music choices include band violin or chorus.

I have had all three of my children attend TCS from nursery through 7th grade and they were academically challanged and spiritually nurtured. Teachers love the Lord and are caring and encouraging. TCS prepared my children wonderfully for high school. I'm proud of TCS and what they stand for. They take a stand against the wavering politics of today's society and encourage parent involvement and imput. God bless TCS for the role this school has played in my life and in the lives of my children!

Trinity has a really good curriculam that challenges me and prepares me for high school and even college. The teachers on the other hand are self-centered and don't put their heart into their teaching. Not all of the teachers just a very good handful of them. I've been surviving middle school probably because of Mrs.Tyre's soft and always open heart. She is the best teacher you could ever have. But with her absence for my last year in the 8th grade (2006-2007) I'll have to put the bad thoughts of the past behind me and think of Mrs.Tyre in my heart.-13

Trinity was the only school in the Apopka area at the time we were looking for a private christian based school that went through the 8th grade. It has a great curriculum that has challenged my children. They are ahead of their peers academically that are in the public school system. Small class sizes are a plus also. On the down side the teachers and staff fall very short when it comes to practicing what they preach. Their handbook speaks of christian love encouraging attitudes etc. yet they totally lack these qualities. Verbally abusing children yet smiling in their parents faces should not be happening but sad to say it does. Too many of them have been there so long they forgot their own mission statement. They will all have to give an account on judgment day for their actions. If you don't love what you do find another.

My daughter has attended this school from the preschool 3 year old class through 5th grade. For the most part the teachers have been wonderful in their abilities to bring out the best in my child. I have only had one bad experience with a teacher at this school and as a parent I had the opportunity to voice my opinions when issues arose and know that parental opinions and involvement are encouraged. The school has provided an excellent academic music and art curriculum. They are probably not as strong in the sports area but have been able to provide adequate sport curriculums with the limited space they have available. Using the local recreational leagues and clubs have given our daughter the additional sporting venues she needed. The school has strong music programs providing violin cello and piano private lessons in addition to the band and chorus curriculums. Also excells academically.

Trinity does offer the students a Christian curriculum but they tend to ignore the students and parents feelings and opinions. The 'ruling' eprsonnel at Trinity are myopic and only consider what is best for themselves not the student. Trinity will learn a hard lesson next year 2007 school year when they lose a great deal of their students to public school.

My son is in nursery school. There is a turn over of staff often. When problems arise the Early Childhood headmaster is very good at getting them resolved.

Trinity Christian School is no doubt a superior learning institution. It is very structured and disciplined. The have just added internet capability to all classrooms and started the accelerated reader program last year. They have refurbished both playgrounds. In the 2005-2006 school year they have added Spanish class to the curriculm. The class sizes are small as well. They offer before and afterschool care as well as a summer day care program.

Excellent school providing solid christian education combined with the educational skills needed to transfer to public or alternate private schools.
