This is my second year with a child at this school and we have been very happy with Falcon Creek. I love the overall philosophy of the school--they have really opened my eyes to the concept of caring for the "whole child" rather than just test scores. Teachers encourage kids to be responsible for themselves--keeping track of and turning in assignments--totally preparing them for high school and college. The rigorous AIM program is great for academically advanced kids and the school has worked with us when even more was needed. When I've initiated contact with teachers or administrators I have always gotten a prompt response and a solution I can live with. The comments I've heard from teachers during conferences show me that the teachers really know and understand my kid. Most importantly my son is happy here.

This is our first year at this school and I have not been very pleased. The reliance on Power School to find and print or submit assignments is much like taking an on - line college course and it has been confusing for both my child and me. The teachers are too hard on the children and expect too much independence even to the point where teachers refuse to communicate directly with me because they expect my child to handle it?!?! It honestly feels like more effort is going into hurting my child's success then helping ( The thought of two more years of this is terrifying! !

The AIM program is great!! The teachers are caring and available to help kids. Most of the teachers my daughter has experienced are available either before or after school to help kids in addition to the scheduled tutoring most days of the week. The new drama teacher is AWESOME. She really loves teaching kids and puts her all into classes and afterschool. I only wish there would be more plays. My daughter has had a great 6th grade and 7th grade experience with Falcon Creek. Both counselors have also been great. They are caring and available to parents and students.

My kids are attending falcon creek middle school. Both my kids and I have experienced some kind of racism with some of the student and teachers.Ive addressed this issue with Counselors and Deans and they ignore the problem. No stars for ignoring this issue.

Falcon Creek is the school of choice for my daughter when she joined 6th grade. I am glad that our decision was right and my daughter is doing good in her AIM classes. AIM is a challenging academic program and sometimes my daughter struggles and she has a lot to work when she comes home. It looks like they are trainig the kids to go to college. I love it.

I don"t like how things are done . Some students over looked and pushed along. Very disappointing to me .

Like the review back in 9/5/2009 I too feel that the teachers and the administrators in this school do not properly work with the parents at all. The teachers and the administrators have not responded to any of my emails to request to meet to discuss my daughter's shortcomings. Also during PTC days every teacher was gone by noon which I found it baffling. My regret is not sending my daughter to Challenge school like I did with my oldest son.

I love Falcon Creek it is a no bully zone so far. Every one is nice they help you with HW and there is always laughter in the school and happiness. But some times there's a time when your having a bad day like I did once and my friends tried to cheer me up and at the end of the day I walked out of the school with a smile on my face.

This is my second year as a student at Falcon I love everything about this school. Most kids don't want to go to school but most students at Falcon really enjoy the fun days we spend in school. I have to say that the AIM program is amazing i love all the teachers in this program so far. I Can't wait tell 8th grade and highschool because i know that i will be prepared.

As an eighth grader I feel that this school is very advanced the teachers are great and awesome. I am very excited to see what the future holds at Grandview

Caring teachers staff and principal. Safe enviroment. Everyone shows that this is just not a job it's about the children wanting to learn and open their minds about diversity.

My son attended Falcon as a school of choice. We made the right decision on sending him there. He had a positive experience academically socially and with extracurricular activities. The school is well maintained and the administration has a tight handle on behavior compared to what we have heard about other schools in the district. The only challenge that we faced during his time there was one of the math teachers. He had her two out of three years and struggled to understand the subject matter. I wish we would have moved him to another class.

This school is the worst! I am a teacher in the same district as Falcon Creek and I have never been more frustrated with a school. The teachers don't communicate (3 times I emailed and never got a response) and the principal is rude (when I emailed him about the communication problem I received a snotty email from him). Every time I asked for help for my son I was given the run around. My sons test scores dropped significantly while he was at Falcon Creek. I have transfered him to another school and could not be happier! Don't send your student to Falcon Creek--they are horrible!

The worst! My son took spanish and advanced math there and can't understand one word of spanish and his math test scores had a major drop!

My daughter was new to public schools at Falcon Creek in 6th grade. Not only did she have a fantastic year but she made honor roll she loved her teachers and I continue to feel comfortable and impressed not only with the education she has received but also with the teachers and their willingness to be available to the children. She started 7th grade this year and again she really likes her classes loves her teachers and is excited to go to school every day. We are huge Falcon Creek fans. Thank you Mr. Kennedy for hiring top-notch individuals. Thank you Falcon Creek Staff (inclusive of Security) for showing interest and care to our kids!

Most of the staff are wonderful helpful individuals. But as with any place there are some bad apples.Make sure that you don't have to see the Deans VPs and Principle for anything other then a good reason (maybe questionable even then). They (CYA)stick togather. Bad experience with my 2 children while there. Will be heading for Liberty with my 3rd. A word of caution is advised when dealing with higher staff.

When I went to Falcon Creek Middle School I felt as if middle school was my home. when you walk through those doors all you can feel is warmth and love. And you can tell that the kids are getting the education they need to get into a great college. Falcon Creek also has GREAT athletics for kids to get involved in. When I went to Falcon Creek I had a locker that worked to my every needs. The combination might have been hard the first couple of days but by the end of the week i was twisting the combination face like ... THAT!! Not only was I able to see my best friends that I've known since kindergarten and friends that I made that year but we had 5 whole minutes to stop talk to friends for a minute and then get to our class on time.

We have been very happy with the teachers and programs at this school.

I went here 2004 - 2007 and this is a high expectant school. This makes its students more aware of what is to come in highschool so that they can be well prepared for the hardships to come. Overall this school has a very sequential purpose for its students. AMAZING!!
