This school is wonderful! We are thrilled with a seventh and sixth grader there this year. There are many activities they can get involved with if they want to my son has done hockey football Walk for Life and there are many other activities offered band cross country basketball. In school there are excellent tech classes offered as well as advanced placement classes. Both of my children went there through school choice knowing no one and have integrated very well into the school. We feel very lucky to be at Auburn. PS I find the office staff to be pleasant as well... we all have bad days I guess.

I agree with the office staff being rude. Be nice to the secretary or your kid will pay for it. So I bent over backwards for 3 years.

Office Staff is very rude. I was hung up on in mid sentence when the office felt they no longer had the time to speak with me. They front office if the voice and face of any school and to act in that manner paints a bad picture for the entire school. Office staff needs re-training in etiquette!

This school has great teachers but not that many extracurricular activities we do not have many sports other than football cross country field hockey and basketball. Parents are not that involved in our school community and safety and discipline are a very important factor to our principal Mr. Gagnon. Overall I rate Auburn Middle School a four star academic area.

If your child has the slightest challenge whether it be behavior special needs etc do not send them to this school. The teachers guidence and principal and vice are clueless and not at all helpful. They just want the challening kids to go away...They are doing a really bad job and in this day and age were there are many troubled youths they really need to step it up..I give them all an d- rating...its really sad......

MAny great things (inc. principal) but school is outdated Vice Principal needs to change attitude and more communication between parents are needed.

Great school!! The teacher are wonderful and are very involved with the kids and spend time helping each one individually.

I have two children in this school and find that all the teachers are hardworking student centered and dedicated. Issues were handled quickly and discreetly. My opinions are valued and acted upon. I am very happy with the experience so far.

We had a daughter in Special Ed at the school for three years. The teachers and administration worked extremely hard with us and made Middle School a successful experience. A major problem was that there was alot of transitions within the Administration (3 principals in 3 years). I would rate the attention and caring high at this school.
