Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT)

In 2010-2011 Georgia administered the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) in English language arts, math, science and social studies to students in grade 11. The GHSGT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined by the state of Georgia. Students must pass all parts of the GHSGT in order to graduate from high school. The goal is for all students to pass the test.

Glenn Hills High school is under rated. Yes there are some misguided kids there but there is an attentive staff of teachers and administrators who care about the education safety and well-being of the kids who attend the school. I have had 3 sons graduate from Glenn Hills High. One was accepted into the United States Naval Academy one received a full scholarship to Georgia Tech studying Engineering and my most recent grad is enrolled in community college and was in the Gifted program.

First I have to look at my student to see if he/she is doing all they can do. Then I look at the school. All schools have it share of issues. This is our second year here some things are a little bit better than last year. I was at the point I wanted to relocate my students they find some good and have adjusted and the teachers make it so. I hope we can continue to grow here successfully.

I went to Glenn Hills 2 years ago and I enjoyed being there. My Senior year I had fun but there were a lot fights going on. Fights happen at every school but in '05 we had a lot of fights almost everyday.

I am a Student at Glenn Hills and i think that it is a wonderful school. Most of my classes are advanced and I am an honor roll student. There is no other school that I would rather go to. c/o 08

I wish I never had to put either of my daughters in the richmond school district. The school only wants put the money in their pocket and distroy the schools. The teachers are feed up and the children are getting the short end of the stick. I think that it can't get any worst if the state takes over. Most of the parents at this school either are trying to hang out with their kids are do not have time for them. It is really sad.
