I have had two children attend Bednarcik. The new principal Mrs Alexander is a treasure with a kind heart and great ideas for new programs including the spelling bee National Junior Honor Society and WATCH dogs (dads coming in to monitor the halls and classes). My kids have had some great teachers including Mr Linden Ms Truemper Mr Morrison Mr Mann Mrs Heemstra Mrs Dutdut Mrs Nemetz and others. My kids feel safe and they like their school and teachers. I only wish they offered orchestra jazz band and a jazz choir but that is a district decision. They have allowed string students to play in the band that move in from other districts.

Bednarcik is an excellent school. It is very big and welcome to take more students and the staff are great to. They would love to help out students. There are also various clubs to join and sports too.

I have never been more impressed with Bednarcik Junior High than I have this week. The entire staff are kind fair dedicated and trustworthy. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is included and everyone understands. They try to make sure the parents remain involved with their students progress throughout the year. Mrs. Miller Mr. Linden Ms. Trumper and Mr. Brooks are just a few of the exceptional teaching staff there.

They've lost control here - they've comletely lost control of these kids. This school is going downhill and fast!

I met plenty of friends and enjoyed spending time in a stress-free environment! So many people that you meet there truly care about you and try to understand you all three years you go!

It's the best school for my child! I love it! Good education!

The school has great classes and a fair student-teacher ratio. the teachers are experienced and know very well what they are doing. In this school if you or your child does the work you or your child will succeed and you or your child will go into high school with everything they need to know.

Too much bullying and gang-related activity from students moving in from Aurora East. Grades are inflated and students are coached from the start to do well on state tests. They end up in high school not knowing a darn thing!

This school is the BEST! Its brand new and is going up the charts. If you would like to put your child in a good skool near the area Aurora put them in the Oswego 308 district! You have my word!

My son transferred here as a 7th grader from a Montessori school. We found the school to be very flexible and really listens to parents. The school district always asks parent's opinions about issues before implementing them. He had a great experience here and I'd highly recommend it. The only thing I would like to see in this school district is an orchestra.

At Bednarcik the level of academic programs is solid for the junior high level. The students have excellent core curriculum teachers with a variety of cycle classes also provided. The school has met all state and national criteria in its' four years of existence. Availability of sports music choir intermurals etc. are great for the students to be involved in. Many of the programs are the top in the district. Parent involvement is growing. PTA is still low in participation but the district is growing rapidly and hopefully that will change.

I am a student and am in 7th grade. I love Bednarcik the teachers will help you with anything even if you just want a little practice they will be in school before or after helping you out. The oprotunities as far as friends go are large after coming from a private school with 200 students to 700 i found it much easier to relate. My favorite teachers are Mr. Zaininger Ms. Truemper Mrs. Nielson Mrs Herrick and Mr. Nehearing. At my school i feel that i have many ways to express myself through woodshop band or art. My school is the best place to be. . Carissa .
