If your child is biracial and can endure racist bullying then this is the school for you my child has been at allison 2 years and has ben subject of racial bullying and she knows what it is to be attending a school with mean kids who has one view in life. I thank God to give me serenity and humbleness plus patience to teach my child right. Everyone is equal!!!

My son went to Allison last year...I have lived in Austin 12+ years and have dealt with several elementary schools in Austin...including on the north side. By far this is the best school any of my children have gone to. I moved and make the biggest mistake of my life by moving into the Del Valle ISD. BIG MISTAKE!! and my son misses Allison so much. A special thank~you to Ms. Burk...such a great teacher!

The children are beautiful and will give you a smile if you give them one. Some have a tough life but they fit in with all the children. They are wanting to learn for some it is tougher than for others. Teachers and staff recognize those struggles. Each day is filled with joys and sadnesses. The children are loved.
