My daughter has had an amazing experience in Algonquin. She entered the school this year as a 6th grade student with learning disabilities. She was so nervous about remembering her locker combination changing classes for different courses meeting new friends and her new teachers. She would cry every night for the first 2 weeks. She quickly formed relationships with her teachers and peers. The support she received from her teachers was extraordinary! The support has continued throughout the year and my once extremely nervous and self-conscious 6th grade daughter has become very confident well prepared middle school student! The teachers support all of the students above and beyond what would be expected therefore creating a nurturing educational environment where everyone can succeed.

This is the best school ever i went here and i love it!
I have to tell you I was nervous about my Daughter starting middle school but my fears were laid to rest. There is a no tolerance rule for everything in the Averill Park District schools. The music program is outrageous especially in the high school sports are phenominal and all the teachers are class acts and very supportive of all the children. We are very fortunate to be in the Averill Park School District!
