BES is a terrific school in a rural setting. The staff is very committed to the students each and everyday. Students are enthusiastic and exhibit that they want to reach their goals and are not forced. The school holds high expectations for everyone and provides differentiated learning to meet these expectations. BES as a physical setting is very warm and inviting and organized with displays of student progress throughout the school. Without hesitation if you are considering BES as a future for your child I would recommend without hesitation.

BES is a wonderful school! I would not have my kids go anywhere else- The staff Title I teachers...... how they have assisted two of my children with their learning struggles! I'm thankful for ALL the STAFF!
The school staff is amazing! Everyone works towards the well being of each student!
Wonderful staff! Caring and dedicated teachers! Both of my kids have excelled at Beaverdam - my oldest has carried it on to middle school - she is in all advanced courses! It all started at Beaverdam!
What a great staff they are very dedicated to each student. I couldn't imagine my kids going to any other elementary school. They are the best!
Beaverdam ES is a wonderful school. All the teachers and staff are very caring and courteous and make you feel welcomed when you visit and they encourage all parents to stop in to see how their children are doing. They know each and every child by name as well as each parent that visits the school. It is very reassuring to know Beaverdam ES takes the safety and well being of my child to heart. I was thrilled that a new security system was installed when allowing entry into the school. I feel confident that BES will continue to keep safety and security in the forefront of progress. BES is a little slice of heaven but not everyone should be allowed to get in. One of the best schools out there and highly recommend BES to all.
Beaverdam Elementary School is an amazing place. Academic excellence is understood it's not 'if' but 'how' the children will accomplish their every personal goal. The teachers are innovative adding creativity whenever possible and not just 'teaching the test'. I have never met a more enthusiastic bunch of team players which is a direct result of the wonderful and supportive leadership in their principal and front office staff. My children are excited to go to school! They are challenged daily to do their best and feel secure in the school's structured and safe environment. The class sizes are small and inviting. As a parent volunteer I am always greated warmly and professionally and I feel honored to have met so many dedicated parents. See for yourself why BES is so amazing!
Moved from what was considered to be a 'prestigious' school district and have been far more impressed with Beaverdam. Teachers are well supported by adminstration and parents. It is a very warm and supportive school that gets the balance of academics (i.e. SOLs) and more impromptu learning opportunities. My kids have been very happy and so have I!
Going to Beaverdam Elementary School as a child is one of my fondest memories. As long as I can remember Beaverdam Elem. has been considered one of the best elementary schools in the county. After nearly ten years of living elsewhere my husband and I decided to return to my hometown. Why? Because Beaverdam is a close knit community with an elementary school that provides an awesome education for our children. I can only hope and pray that my children will benefit from attending BES as much as I did. From establishing lifelong friendships to learning from teachers who dedicate themselves to their students children there are definitely blessed.
I attended Beaverdam as a child and moved back to the area specifically for my 2 children to be able to attend. Parents and teachers work really well together. I feel like my children are getting a wonderful education as well as receiving support and guidance on developing their characters. Agree with the other comment about Beaverdam having a private school feel. Parental involvement is welcome and teacher morale seems very high probably due in part to the principal's support of the teachers.
Excellent school with high expectations for students. Achievement is superior. Very friendly school where parents are always welcome. Public school with a private school feel.
