We moved to Bel Air from Texas in 2011 and have really enjoyed the town the people and Bel Air elementary. We have 3 children all in elementary school so education was top priority in our house hunt. We found that the curriculum is ahead of Texas as our kids tested behind and needed to catch up (our former school rates a 9 on Great schools). The principal of Bel Air called me several times to answer my questions the teachers and staff are great and very friendly and my kids have adjusted beautifully....my daughter was voted to Student Government!! They offer fun family activities with movies games or gingerbread making and lots of opportunities to volunteer. I was a little nervous about the Great Schools rating but we are all very happy here.

My child has been in Bel Air Elementary for two years. I have found the staff and teachers to be very knowledgable and caring. The kids seem to feel safe and happy in class. There is a lot of parental support at this school.
