Had 3 kids at CC in 2012-2013 year 4th grader and twin Kindergarteners. Teachers are trying their best but are bound to the curriculum and forced to "teach to the test." The school is also very focused on "mainstreaming" special ed kids -- with few classroom aides few resources and cramped time schedules this means the teacher spends 80% of their actual teaching time dealing with these kids. Kids who need more challenge or extra help but who are not special needs are left in the dust along with the just average kids. Bullying is a consistent problem but not nearly as bad as in Medina Elementary so I'm counting my blessings about that. One thing CC has going for it is that the PTA is present but does not own the school like at Med. Elem. When the policies actually get enforced they apply to everyone equally without regard to who has a PTA mom and not.
