Horace May is the best elementary school in District 31. The principal Amy Aalgaard is awesome caring and dedicated. Best of all my son loves it there.

Entire staff is committed to outstanding educational outcomes. Mrs. Pearson's 2nd grade class is great. My daughter grew and learned more in her class than I thought was possible in a 2nd grade class. Her combination of high expectations self assessments and personable teaching style created an environment that challenged and pushed my daughter to do her very best every day. The best part is that with all the fun of the class I don't think my daughter even realized how much she was learning.
