Very hard-working staff that genuinely care about their students learning. There is a low budget though which makes it hard for some children to get school supplies such as paper.

Great School no complaints!! Wish I was able to send my youngest 2 children but we purchased a house in Richmond City.

I find the quality lacking. It's the 4th week of school and they haven't begun to do any reading yet. why? they are overcrowded! They have to add on teachers trailers for classrooms and move the students around to new classes. They don't have enough books for all the students. Is this poor planning? Why should the students suffer? my daughter has a learning disability and hasn't been helped yet because of these problems. She gets more help from her afterschool program than at school.

I am a parent of seven children five of which go to Bensley school. Last year was their first year there. Two of my children needed extra help to get them up to level their teachers were very helpful to get where they needed to be in order to pass. We moved here in December and the staff was very nice and made my children feel at home. The YMCA also has an after school program at Bensley for working parents who need childcare up until 6 00 pm. Being a working mother this is a life saver. I'm not sure what your looking for as far as comments I just think this is a great school for my kids. There is a great bunch of children who go there a nice mix of all kinds of people. I'm very glad we moved here so my children can t enjoy their school year.
