Average at best... I moved to Plainedge from a neighboring community mainly because of their schools but have yet to see anything "wonderful". High taxes but low standards and a lot of phony people in charge here.

I love the feeling of community that comes from the school. The Principal teachers and staff truly care about each and every child as an individual.

Johm H. West was my husbands school growing up. He insisted that the kids go there. After the my kids spent 3 years in the school i saw why my husband wanted this school. The principal Carol Muscarella impressed me the most with her caring and involvment. Our first year there she nknew my name just after a couple of days( and i am not up there pften). She made it a point to learn the students names and thier parents names. I know this is a great school because even when my kids are feeling run down and not 100% and i say stay home so dont catch anything they cry to go to school.
